Quick question - PSU faulty?

Just upgraded from:
Q9450, P5Q Pro, GTX460 with 3xSSD and 2x mech drives

to:

i5-3750, Asus P8Z77WS, GTX460 with the same drives.

Initially with my Corsair GX750 PSU in the PC it powered off, then back on a couple of times, as I hadn't used that PSU for a while I decided it could well be that, so switched to my older Coolermaster 460 which had previously been working fine with setup 1. But it's powering off MORE frequently.

PSU upgrade time? or is it potentially the motherboard? I've been able to run 3D mark 2011 no problem and PRime95 can run for hours when the PC stays on, but it will simply randomly power off.

Thermals seem fine - I've got AIDA64 displaying those all the time.

PC will power off even when using word etc so I doubt it's graphics card related and hence load, unless I'm missing something!

Any thoughts? I'm not convinced it's the motherboard/ram/cpu although they're all new as I have played Saints Row 3 for about 4 hours continuously on this rig, then later on it'll turn off for no apparent reason!

The fact it seems more frequent with the lower powered PSU just seems a tad odd, perhaps it's simply needing a beefier PSU?

Wife was using it today, it behaved like this:

750W PSU - powered off when in word, and when sitting idle for 20mins.

460W PSU - powered odd when running prime95 (no errors reported in prime logs), run prime fine for 6 hours since, also powered off when sitting idle and when in Firefox browsing OCUK about 30mins later!

Not had any problems since I did the latest bios update, fingers crossed!

Prime 95 overnight - no problems, Furmark for over an hour - still stable even if it was cooking in the case!
