quick question re 360 pad on windows

Guys

I want to pick up a 360 pad in town tomorrow, I'd prefer to get a wireless rather than a wired pad. As long as i buy the windows reciever will all 360 pads work with it?. I have seen a pack with the controller and reciever for windows but would rather grab the black controller and have not seen them packaged with a reciever.

Should, Im in same boat and will not own any white crap period.

Where can you buy a black Elite Controler on its own and can you get a black receiver yet ?.

Edit, I see black controlers now avail since last time I looked.

Windows pads and 360 pads are identical. The only difference is the box they come in. If you ahve a wireless reciever for the PC then you can use all wireless pads, and wireless headsets, and (i think) wireless Guitars

I knew the pads were the same, but did not see black (Elite) pads for sale seperate a while back.

Wired pad gives feedback in crysis I noticed, they work out nicely. I use the 360 headset in bf2
