QUICK QUESTION : re isp change (BT > Be)

hi guys just need a really quick answer, i'm just about to migrate to Be* from Btyahoo and was wondering will i still have my email account with bt? i.e. my @btinternet.com account and able to access it through yahoo like i currently do? as i have a lot of emails on there and will need to know if i'l have to back them up

It will work for a short time then will cease to function. Id say its best to back them up.

When i moved from BT to Be* they allowed me to keep the email account but at a cost of £1 per month

i can still login to my bt email. i left back in july and haven't paid a penny to them.

to backup your emails, download them using a pop3 client like outlook or thunderbird.

in future, i wouldn't rely on isp email. you're better off getting your own domain or using a free service like gmail. then it won't matter what happens when/if you switch isps again.

this is true, urm having a couple of teething problems setting up thunderbird for my old @btinternet.com email not really used these types of programmes before.

unsure as to what i need to after setting the email address and my name in the first part of the wizzard?
