Quick question re points on license.

speeding offence date 4/4/10

Conviction date 27/9/10

which date do my points come off? I know insurance takes another 2 years.

Just a ponder really.

Offence date iirc - so 5/4/13 for totting up and 5/4/14 before it would actually be removed from the counterpart

Question then if its not totted up after 5/4/13 would I have to declare it on a job application?

I'm guessing a driving job, since I've never been asked about driving offences when applying for a job before!! :confused:

In which case they'll most likely ask to see your licence, so unless you send off the licence to have them removed, they'll see them anyway...

I thought its 4 years from date of offense until you can get them removed from your license and insurers now ask for any convictions in 5 years.

nope all it asks is do I currently have any driving points and if so what for?

Its for a community first responders post which is voluntary but of course there is driving involved.
