Hey all,

Just want to check before powering up, but a Corsair HX 750 PSU would be enough for a 1080Ti running one monitor at 3440x1440 resolution ? And 4 HDD's.

Thanks for taking your time and replying ! :)

Absolutely. I have a 1080 (with RGB) with three HDDs, two SSDs, overclocked Ryzen 5 1600x, 16GB overclocked RAM and a motherboard with RGB, and a case with three 180mm and one 92 mm fans, as well as LED keyboard and mouse. Running off a corsair 750W psu, cant remember which exact model, but might be the TX, never had any problems.

Edit: my psu is the old AX750

Yes I would think so. HDD's don't consume much power.

Thanks for your input guys, I throw it in and all working fine ! Although think one of the HDD's is buggered, after a while was a 'ticking' sound so day after I removed all HDD's and it was fine. It's ok though, was 4 old ones so no biggie, have added one of them back and will see later if it was that one or one of the others. Once again, much appreciated for your inputs ! :)

Current spec below, 750w of a good quality PSU is fine :)

i7-8700k @ 5.0Ghz Delided / Noctua NH-D15 / T'Grizzly Thermals
Asus ROG Maximus X Hero / 16GB TG Dark Pro "8 Pack Edition" @ 3200Mhz
Crucial 480GB / Zotac AMP! Extreme Core GTX 1080Ti / Corsair RM750X

I have a Super Flower 650w running a 1080ti OC to 2075ghz on a 3440x1440 monitor, 6700k OC to 4.7ghz, 2x EKWB pumps and 5 fans, 4 SSDs and an M.2 and it seems happy. I might be the wrong end of its efficiency curve though.
