Hi all.

I've been using Nvidia for several years and the control panel had several built in game profiles.

I was just wondering if any came with CCC?

From what I've read there should be several pre defined game profiles but I can't see any.

Many Thanks.

They are pre set optimum settings for games, AA, AF e.t.c

Apparently the beta 8.7 drivers have just included pre sets for Mass Effect among others but if they did I can't find them.

I've never used any game profiles before? what did they do then?

I thought they were something to do with SLI/Crossfire?

the profiles automatically get used when u launch the game...it looks for the .exe file.

go into advanced settings in your nvidia cp panel to see what settings are used for the different games...u can also edit them.

Oh yeah I see it . . . doesn't have anything predefined that I can see?

oh i should have read your post properly...i only read upto the sli bit lol.

nvidia cp has it ...im not sure abt ati as ive only had my 4850 for a couple of days and havent really messed abt with it yet

Yep the game profiles, predefined, are the one thing that I really miss switching from NVidia back to ATi again.

Let's hope it comes in a later driver/CCC release.

Just make individual profiles in CCC for your games, then just activate them when you play your games, it works just like NV's profiles, you just need to activate them which is not that much trouble.
