Hi there!
I just bought a Asus Xonar DG to replace the onboard Realtec sound chip. After installing drivers i have HsMgr and Rundll32cmicnfgp.cpl processes running, which i believe is the way it should be.
Question is, should i terminate RTHDCPL and ALCMTR, which i believe relate to the not-in-use Realtec chip? (To save recourses and avoid conflicts)

Many thanks!

uninstall the realtek software as it isn't needed, also remember to disable the onboard audio device under integrated peripherals in the BIOS. (or wherever the options is)

HsMgr is part of the xonar control panel for allowing the GX emulation IIRC. The rundll32 isn't something i've seen with my xonar essence.
