Quick question regarding Fraps

Is it an accurate representation of your FPS? Does Fraps itself chew away some frames?

Of course it will reduce the framerate, as it requires some processing power to encode the video.

So how big a FPS hit would you say it is?

The simple counter is accurate enough. If you compare it to the games normal fps measure it should read the same

If you record video while playing it will fall
