Quick question regarding pc through surround sound.

i have a Yamaha RX-V387 AV receiver. i have my ps3, 360 and virgin media box going through this via HDMI to my 42" panasonic tv. i will be spending about 650 - 700 in a couple of weeks on the rest of my build.

will there be any problems using my tv as a temporary monitor?

no just keep an eye on the image retention if that's an old panasonic plasma
