I went into my local 'shop' a couple of days ago enquiring about the slim version of the PSP, been meaning to pick one up for a while now, anyway, the guy behind the counter said that the new PSP slim's have worse screens compared to the older PSP's, is this true ?, I don't mind the old PSP's but I've had a couple before and both of them had dodgy d-pads which really bugged me.

Works fine to me, my brother has a normal PSP and I have the slim n'lite - it's good fun in my opinion, no problems with the screen or the buttons.

I had a Launch Japanese PSP (which apparently have the best screens of all) and have recently got a PSP Slim - I can't tell any difference, though it's years since I got rid of my JAP PSP, so can't compare them side by side.

Slim psp actually has a slightly better screen in terms of brightness and contrast ratio.

Quality gadget and with GOW: chains of olympus coming out soon and a number of excellent tiles already available its a good buy.

p.s. it is also the best accessory available for the ps3.
