Quick question, Special Delivery and saturdays

I ordered something special delivery this morning, got the tracking and it says it will deliver before the 9/5/11, i know there is an option for guaranteed saturday delivery, but should it still come tommorow without it? (away monday)

Should do, ive had SD delivered on a Saturday.

I think it depends on the area you are in and how busy it is, some will deliver non guaranteed on Saturday if possible, others won't.

Only guaranteed for following Monday, but in most areas it will arrive on Saturday.

Ive never had special NOT be delivered on Saturday after being dispatached on Friday.

Special Delivery is one of the things Royal Mail tend to have spot on. Agreed, in most of mainland UK, you can probably expect SD to arrive on a Saturday, but of course they don't guarantee it just in case it can't.
