Hi there,

Ive got a Tagan 480w u22 psu connected to a SLI-DR.

On the back of the psu there is a combined and spilt switch. Combined where the dual 12+ rails are combined and spilt where it acts as 2 seperate 12+ rails.

Ive got it on combined atm, could I run it off spilt aswell on the SLI-DR?

Wondering if someone has already done this or is doing this?

Underload the psu is tending to make 'stratching' noises. Thought it were the fan, but it isnt, cant seem to think what it could be.

Ive had it connected to a socket A board, idle and load it didnt make a noise.

Does the SLI-DR have dual 12v+ rails? Im thinking that I should select the mode on the psu to help the stability of the rig maybe?

Thanks

Ah... Connected everything as normal?

Im just a little worried as Ive had a Tagan blow on me before, dont want another one doing the same :p

I'l give it a go. Hopefully it might cure this noise.

Ben
