Quick question- Vista 64Bit

I am currently running Vista home premium 32 bit and today my 64Bit CD arrived. So am i all right just to put that in on boot?

Or do i have to clean everything on hardrive and install? Doest matter if i do as its a new build nothing really on and how do i do it?

i think it's going to be a complete reinstall rather than an upgrade.

how do i go about that? How do get my hdd to like factory setting sort of speak?

just backup anything you need first then boot from the 64bit cd. you'll get an option to format your drive and create/remove any partitions from there.
