I currently have a Geforce 2 MX400 of some sort in my PC (sorry cant be of much help as i aint clued up on gfx cards). The onboard fan is making one hell of noise. Would it be ok to disconnect the fan and use the card?

cheers

It's get very hot and well basicly no. Sort the fan out. Turn the computer off. Take the card out and dust it, use a paint brush or something to get rid of the dust then try it.

Thanxx for your quick reply

Tried dusting it with a paint brush before and seems to have gone noisier since i put it back in. Looks like i'll have to live with the noise until i can get hold of another fan or el-cheapo card.
