i have aol 1mb connection with an bt voyager 105 adsl usb modem, im getting a router to go wireless upstairs and i see adsl2, whats the difference and would an adsl2 be compatable with my broadband?

An ADSL2+ router will work fine with current ADSL.

Yep, ADSL can go upto 8Mbit down, ADSL2+ goes to (I think) 24Mbit down.

Bear in mind it's still up to 8Mbps (7.2Mbps of useful throughput), unless either BTw start using ADSL2+, or AOL shift you onto LLU (and use ADSL2+).

im on one meg so i dont need max speeds, i just want it to work with existing stuff.
