Bit of a network rookie so I'm just wondering if this can be done (pretty sure it can but I thought I'd ask anyway):
I have a PC connected to my router, and a 360 upstrairs connect by a long cable to the router. Is it ok to unplug the cable from the 360 and stick it into a small hub, and then plug the 360 into the hub and anything else I choose to connect to the hub? (original xbox in this scenario).
Any downsides to doing it this way? Other option is just to run another 20m cable from the router to the original xbox but I'd rather not do that.
