Quick Question...

Just received my 3870xt (thanks Cupra) and while i wait on getting some TIM to put my cpu into the new mobo, can i use this card in the asrock 4x pci-e slot.

im guessing there will be a slight hit (read major) but i can live with that for the time being til I get backed up and rebuilt.

It's less of a hit compared to Nvidia but the last time I looked this card wasn't out yet but I still believe it's the Nvidia cards that get the hit a lot more @ x4.

Quick answer to my own question... no the 3870 doesnt like the Asrock DualVsta board.. Just spent an hour with Bsod's and non starting vista
