Quick question

I'm currently obviously able to post on this forum, currently though it's the only site or page I can get to work. Everything else bbc etc fails.

I tried to connect to live and i'm getting an ip error. I've been playing this morning already.

Chances are my router needs rebooting by why can I still use ocuk forums?

I can even get to the ocuk homepage but nothing else :confused:

It's more out of curiousity rather than a fault

What happens when a site fails to load?
Sounds like either wonky DNS or a full NAT table that still has entries for here and the shop.

I just got the internet explorer fails to find message, a reboot of the router sorted it straight away but I was just curious as to why it happens and why overclockers still loaded by that was it.

Sounds like wonky DNS then - the router (or your machine) would have cached DNS records.

Cheers next time I will try the laptop as well to see if it's the pc or router.
