I have a webbook with unbutu on and i did not like it so i fdisked the hard drive and went to install windows xp on but when i go into the setup and pick my hard drive its not there and don't get why. I go in the bios and there is no hard drive there only this below.
I even put xp on the webbbook hard dive in my brothers laptop then put it back in my webbook and all i get is this.

Yep, malef!c is correct. It allows you to boot an Operating System over a Network.
This has it's advantages, aswell as it's disadvantages so be careful to read up on it if you decide to use it.
As for the Hard Drive not being seen under the BIOS, could you give us a name of the netbook, so we can find a bit information about it.

H m8 the webbook is a Elonex Webbook, the one you get with mobile broardband and when we had it it had ubuntu on but we did not like it, then it crashed so we went to put windows xp on it but it says there is no boot device. There is nothing wrong with the sata hard drive inside as i connected it to a desktop pc and the hd reads in windows. the bios on this webbook has not got many options at all and shows no hard drive up only waht is on the first pic.
