Quick Question

I've just been installing a game, and surfing the net with a few other programs open, all seemed ok till my Physical memory shot up to 7.7gb in use the game finshed installing and it stayed same.. I had to reboot as pc was running slow.
I've got 8gb of OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 running at 850mhz at 5 5 5 18. Any reason why it would be doing this? or is it normal lol?>

It could be a number of things m8,did you notice if anything was updating in the background at that time??

Not as I know of m8, Seems to be ok atm, aint installed any new games yet
