my spec

core 2 duo 3ghz
4gig ram
couple of hdd

the question:

im goig to order a 4870 now but will my 450 watt psu cope or do i need ot order the crosshair modular 650 watt unit??

Depends on which 450w (or so I read!) the big name ones will cope, cheapo ones wont…
I'm sure someone will fill in the details as I'm not sure which PSU's are the best.

no neither am i thats why im asking just checked it as im on my m GF's laptop...it's an antec earthmax 500watt

I've read the Antec ones are good, 500w will be more than enough
