Quick question

My old xfx 8800gts(g80) went faulty so i rma'd it (not OC) and they are sending me a EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 512MB(512-P3-N971-TR).

Do you guys think it is a decent replacement and is not having a pci-e 2.0 board any limitation?

That card is an 8800gt just renamed to 9800gt mate.

The 8800/9800GT is a fair bit faster than a G80 GTS I think, so a decent replacement if you ask me.

Peformance will be a bit better if you had the 640MB version, or quite a lot better if you had the 320MB one.

A good replacement, people get a lot worse sometimes.
