Can you get points/fine for sitting just over a white line at a set of traffic lights?
Let's say 1ft over.Define 'just over'.
Let's say 1ft over.![]()
Just the front of the car, the front tyres JUST over the white line.Front wheel or back wheel?
Which is why I said to define it.
If your whole car is a foot over...you deserve it, if you've rolled your nose/front wheel over by a foot, no.
Just the front of the car, the front tyres JUST over the white line.
I got pulled for this last night, and there going going on and on and on about they COULD give me a £60 fine and 3 points for this, but ended up sending me on my way![]()
Exactly my situation.Especially if the lights turn at the "****, make a decision" point.
I can only assume you were driving like a peni prior to going over the line? Skidding to a stop, wearing a cap backwards or something! Cant see why they would have bothered otherwise.
