Just noticed something appear on my desktop its a folder called WTF. Ive no clue where its from and i dont want to open it incase?
 
Right-click and hit "Explore". That way it will definitely open in an Explorer window and not launch if it is some kind of shortcut to a virus or something.

It it isn't a folder or a compressed folder, it "Explore" shouldn't be an option.

Provide screen caps aftewards. :)

How the hell did it get there? well if it is from wow atleast i know its not something dodgey phewwww

beat me to it, it's the folder to which stores all your toolbar configurations etc on all your characters within wow including a lot of your addon info such as clique and other such addons..... i may have my info mixed up on this tbh as i haven't played in a little while

just pop it back into your wow main directory... it's normally found in the same folder as your cache folder, it is safe to delete both cache and WTF folder without harming the game, just be prepared to spend a little time re-configuring any addons/toolbars.

I'm guessing you know what your cache folder stores, actually mainly only ppl that use the NPCscan addons know that type of info
