my bestie is thinking of up grading to an i7 sandy bridge and ud7 as i have and didnt know if his 650w psu was man enough, but neither do i?

its a Corsair TX 650W ATX SLi Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-650TXUK) [CMPSU-650TXUK]

What gpu are you using if you looking, but yes, your psu will be fine

Yep, will be more than enough, my system (in sig) pulls 500w full load from the mains.
