Would it be worth picking up a 5970 these days or would it be better to get a 6970/570?

Budget is £250 at christmas time so not too worry about deals at the moment as i have no money available untill christmas, also would like to play bf3 on as high settings as possible.

I have a 600w psu and a i5 2500k, 8gb ram

I'd love one, would have to be second hand though unless you know of a place that is legit and is flogging them for £250
