I *think* I want a wireless bride.

I have a wired ethernet switch between my computer and laptop, I want traffic between the two to go through that.

We will have wireless internet where I live soon and I want a device that I can plug into my switch that enables me to connect wireless to the bt home hub through both my computer and laptop.

Would this work? If not any suggestions as to what I need would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
jmhduck

So let me get this clear.

PC/Laptop ----cable----SWITCH - - - wireless - - - - BT Home Hub???

If that's what you mean, then no. If the aim is to be able to connect the PC and laptop to the internet via the home hub, then you will need a wireless bridge or better still some homeplugs.

What you linked to was a wireless access point, which is to connect wireless clients to the wired intrastructure.

Okay thanks for the clarification I wasn't sure that was what I was after, hence the checking...
Do you have any recommendations for a wireless bridge?
