I recently bought the MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition to take advantage of the super free games offer but now i have some questions about fitting it in a new system.

I'm looking at getting the 'Titan 8700i Pulse' prebuilt system, which is roughly this :-

- Case: Antec Three Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case (default choice, options available)
- Power Supply: Corsair GS 600w PSU
- CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz Ivybridge CPU
- Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX2 Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
- Cooler: Alpenföhn K2 Mount Doom CPU Cooler

Will the 7950 fit inside this machine? I was planning on switching that in instead of the basic HD 6450 that comes with it (my girls can have that in their PC). The cooler is huge though.. i just wanted some reassurance that i will have no problems getting the 7950 in.

Thanks.

It was a good case around 5 years ago. It is now very outdated, doesn't really support long GPU's (like the one you listed,) also it had bad cable management. It has good build quality though :).

Thanks.. truth be told i'm a little nervous about the idea of building it myself but its tempting to have a go.

Would a 550w psu be enough?

What other bits would i need to buy to build myself? I'm assuming some kind of thermal paste like

Is there anything else?

The Psu is fine.
The cooler will come with paste or at least pre-applied.
You will find a couple of very good video tutorials in the link below. Evrything else you need will be in the manuals. And should you run into any problems, we are always here to help.

ok.

Right so would anyone be able to spec me a new comp w/ £850ish budget?

I already have GPU (MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express), keyboard/mouse/windows7.

I would like it to include a monitor (24"), SSD, 2tb HD, wireless card, good OC ability.

Thanks.
