Good Morning. I have a swift question

I have a Dell precision M6300 laptop that I rescued. However the previous owner had pilfered the RAM outta it and thrown the cover away. I can make some temporary covers for it on a cnc laser at my workplace.

I'm curious to what material would be safe to use as a cover though. I have access to PETG, Plexiglass and High impact polystyrene. It's just a temporary fix till my replacements arrive.

Many thanks.

:EDIT: forgot to add it does have RAM in the machine now.

it sounds crazy, but have you tried duct tape? Seems to be impervious to everything!
