Quick RAM Question...

the soldered memory module on my G4 ibook has died and so i am left with only 256Mb of RAM, i need at least 512Mb for Panther to run smoothly, i reckon.

the ibook takes PC2700 DDR RAM, is this apple specific memory modules or can i buy any type from any company?

You can get anything compatible, Crucial/Kingston etc would go with the former excellent service
