Quick RAM/Slot question?

Just ordered the kit for a new build earlier. In anticipation of it arriving I've just d/l the ASUS P5Q manual. I've got 2 x 1Gb stick of Corsair XMS2 6400 C4 DDR2 4-4-4-12 800Mhz RAM arriving too.

The manual looks damn complicated (it's been a good 3 year since I last built anything, and I just can't believe how far things have progressed since then!!)

Which slots please, both in DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2..... or B1 & B2, or 1 in each??

You should fill A1 and B1, as each of the pairs (A and B) is on a different channel.
You could use A2 and B2 if you prefer.

On your board, match the colours if you are not sure - a pair in yellow and / or a pair in black.
