Quick release with 7/16th compression?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a quick release fitting with a compression that will fit 7/16th tubing? I like the look of the Koolance disconnects but they don't appear to do a 7/16th fitting. I prefer compression so would prefer not to use a barb.

Phobya do quick release fittings with a G1/4 female thread to allow you to use your choice of connectors. May be available from other manufacturers too. If you havent bought the hose etc they also do quick release with various size compression fittings on.

Ah, good idea. I hadn't thought about going to a G1/4 and then to something else.

Koolance also do QC's with threaded ends.
The Phobya ones are much more restrictive.

Also I use 7/16 on my 1/2 VL4's.
The locking nut does nothing - but the razer sharp barb ends under it grip the 7/16 without issue.
You can alway pack out the tube with a few turns of paper if you want the nut to squeeze the tube.
