quick repair question (xbox 360)

I started off with a launch console, ive just sent it for a repair (3 red lights) its been like 4 days and its already on its way back, im guessing this is a replacement? will i get a newer SKU?
 
Hi, don't mean to hijack but I've got a quick question!

I arranged for my xbox repair online last sunday, but I wont be around for the next week for UPS to come and collect it, so can I cancel the repair request and do it in a week or two time?

Thought I might get a quicker response here than through Microsoft.
 
Just got my repaired 360 back, it was a launch console which lasted rather well until it died last week. Same one back - but with both the motherboard and dvd drive replaced! (the new drive is quiet... woo!)

mine died today which considering i bought in late May is a joke as i treated it amazingly and some of my friends throw theirs about and have nothing happen.

[thread_hijack] just a quick question really, when i get it back (UPS man collects on monday) do i just plug my hard drive back in and i have everything working again or so you have to do something special? [/thread_hijack]
 
good morning all.

I'm having a little trouble understanding this returns business.

in the email M$ have sent me it links me to a UPS thingy. Am I meant to print both the label, and the receipt off and sticky tape to my box?
