Hi all, my monitor is dying as I type (was the only part of my PC that hadn't in the last 2 weeks up until just now)!

I need a decent-ish TFT, mainly to be used for gaming and photoshopness. I would prefer a 19" jobbie, but would be swayed away if there's a massive difference in quality between the two sizes at this pricepoint. I don't want widescreen as a further requirement, it must be 4:3.

Cheers!

Actually, scratch that, widescreen is an option, and budget is £120, utter, utter max.

try reading the reviews if your screen will allow. also if screen does die, press windows + U will atleast bring up narrator so you can navigate kind of. Also buy form places that give free delivery if you are having difficulty deciding and then that way if you don't like it you can return if for free.

Cheers for the reply. It seems alright at the mo (typical!).

It just randomly powered off and wouldn't switch on- just kept clicking loudly. When I did get it to switch on, the picture displayed with a very prominent moire pattern, then it went wonky and everything had a red shadow cast on one edge. It seems to have gone back to normal for the time being. Weird

Her indoors says as long as it's working, it stays  :D

The narrator shortcut sound useful, and that monitor does look rather nice.

Cheers ;)
