Slim chance. If a bubble enters the pump its similar to dry running as well its air not coolant. I imagine it would take a fair beating but why risk it
Keep the coolant level above the outlet and there is no issue. Run the reservoir up right while getting the biggest bubbles out, but should be fine once its been topped up, to run it any way you want.
