In Silent Hill you control Harry, Harry is searching for Cheryl, his daughter who has disappeared following a car accident.
So i assume Cheryl Mason would be the lead female character ?

Most of em I think. Code veronica. Resident evil zero and Resident evil 3 Resident evil.
Resident evil 3; Jill Valentine
Code veronica; Claire Redfield. You control Chris later on.
Resident evil zero; Rebecca Chambers. I think you control Billy later
Resident evil;You can either be Chris or Jill. A sort of difficulty setting
