quick resolution question (360)

am i right in thinking that it doesn't matter what vga resolution i use, the game performance will be in the same?

i have a new screen and it's optimum resolution is 1440x900, but the closest i can get to that on the xbox (ratio wise) is 1280x768 so i'm using that at the moment.

maybe i should run it in 1280x720?

i mean they all look pretty much the same. PGR3 looks a little squashed on all of them, sadly.
