Quick RF-602 question...

Just a quick query I have for a project, I need to trigger some remote flashes wirelessly, so far so easy I know. However, I need to trigger them from a medium format camera without a hotshoe , it has a flash sync connection in the form of a standard pc-sync socket. Can the transmitter for the RF-602 kit be fired from a pc-sync signal does anybody know? I see it has a socket on it but I can't find reference to what it's for anywhere online.

Cheers

Does the camera have a connector to fire it from a remote trigger?

If so - a second RF-602 receiver might fit the bill - use the transmitter as a wireless trigger for them all?

I remember mine's got a connector on it, but I'm not sure whether it's usable for that either!

No, that'd be nice but it's shutter button or cable release only, remote triggering of the shutter isn't possible so I need to trigger the flashes based on the shutter. (well you can but not for sensible money...)

I've pretty much settled on grabbing some phottix strato triggers now actually, they're only a little more, are better quality units with more sensible connectors (that is, not weird semi proprietary ones).

A long dead thread but for what it's worth I eventually grabbed the phottix strato triggers for this and it worked splendidly all told. The triggers are very good too, probably the best of the cheap-ish (I got a transmitter and two receivers for about £80 delivered with every cable imaginable) ones in my view. Nice quality and do what they're meant to.
