Quick San Andreas controls question

Hey guys,

When using a gun in SA how do you get it to auto aim on a target and then let you cycle through targets? I'm sure there was a little help tip on this but i didn't have a chance to read it in time as i was concentrating on the game.

Now it means that it takes me ages to aim manually and kill the person.

Any help on what the controls are to get it to do this?

PS. Loving the game so far. I used to always play it on the PS2 but i got it for PC and, as always, PC > Console

I actually would prefer manual aim, I don't like the way scarface locks you onto the person, with GTA can easily kill enemies and move to the next person- with Scarface it stays locked onto the person so in a firefight I get wasted. Can't answer your question though.

I don't really mind manual aim. It just takes ages to kill someone unless you shoot them in the head which obviously takes more time.

Use mouse.

Also stop sucking at GTA

Im 99% sure the auto aim was only on the console versions.

lol i was afraid of this happening. Now i look like a little noob

I think it did say in one of the help tips though about auto aim. Probably a remnant from it's console port.

options>controller setup. Then change the Configuation to Joypad.

Yeh cheers, that worked but it means that i can't use the mouse to change the view like i would normally be able to do on the keyboard/mouse settings.

Oh well, i guess i have to just stop sucking at San Andreas
