I'm kinda frustrated right now, just custom built a pc and it will not boot. I've gone through the sticky check list but no luck.

I've also tried to short the power connector pin thing on the mobo but all that happens is the led from the power button flashes.

My question is does having extra unused standoff's cause this issue?

Will post specs if needed, typing off a blackberry :(.

I shall start removing all teh, component so.

Specs:
Asus P8H67 Rev 3 motherboard
Intel i5 2550k 3.4ghz
2 x 4 G.Skill DDR3 -1333 Ram
GTX 560 TI Graphics card
Corsair 120gig Force3 SSD
AKASA 750W AK-PA075AM01 PSU

Do tell if i missed something,

Ok, i removed the extra standoff's, same thing... :(

Power led just flashes.. cpu fan spins just slightly.. Do i just give up on the mobo? Those additional standoffs could have damaged it.

- Yup, all power connectors secure
- No decent camera :( my phone's very dark
- No luck trying ram sticks 1 by 1
- Monitor can't be connected to mobo

For the rest, i've called up a repair shop nd they'll test all the components i guess. Going there tomorrow so i've boxed it up and jumped in bed like a sad panda.

P.s if it's mobo failure, can someone recommend a cheap mobo (need for slighty heavy gaming) i can change to that will not hurt my pocket?.

Will update tomorrow after going to the shop.
