Quick, simple utility to analyse PC and spit out a file?

I'm after for a simple, ideally stand-alone, program I can run from a USB disk for example which will analyse things like CPU, memory, HDD (RAID / non-RAID, size, format etc) and spit out a small file of the results.

Simpler = better. I don't want a full run down of memory timings and L2 cache etc etc.

It's for work - we get a lot of PCs through and it would be nice to run a simple exe and keep a record of the file it spits out for QA purposes, as well as to check the spec is correct.

Thanks for any help.

search for belarc advisor, it produces a html report of the pc in a single click.

Seconded! Belarc is a good program, I use it at my work for small system audits :)
