Quick SLI question..

Right, I'm currently suffering from the flu so forgive me if this is a silly question - I've just never seen an answer to it around anywhere.
I'll be shortly picking up a second GTX (currently have a Leadtek 256mb GTX), and was just wondering if it's possible to mix and match 256mb versions with 512mb versions?
I know Nvidia released drivers that allow you to mix and match the 256mb manufacturer cards, but is it possible to mix and match cards with different memory?

you can but the 512 card wil defult to the 256mb card speed

What about if you then overclocked them back to *** its ment to be
