Quick spec check - £500 build

Been given a budget by a colleague to build a gaming system for his son.

This is what I've put together.

AMD Ryzen 5 2600
Gigabyte B450M DS3H
MSI AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB ARMOR 8G OC
WD Blue 500GB 3D NAND SSD M.2 2280
Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L
Evga 500w 80+ White Series Psu
HyperX 8GB 2666MHz DDR4 CL16

This is already slightly over budget, otherwise I'd swap the CPU for a Ryzen 3600, apart from that I can't think of anything I can improve.

Only thing I'd suggest (and may already be the case, but isn't specified) is to make sure that 8GB ram is 2x4GB rather than 1x8GB, unless it's getting upgraded with a second 8GB fairly soon. Double your memory bandwidth is nothing to sniff at, and as the motherboard has 4 ram slots you can always add another 2x4GB later.

I stuck with one stick as it's a pocket money upgrade for another 8gb, but sure, that's not a bad idea.

It'll be 1080p, but sure what games, but he's 12 so Minecraft, think he plays Roblox, probably Fortnite or Overwatch. Colleague's son but only going off what what I've seen him play when he's had to stay at the office with his father.
