HIS ATI Radeon X1950 Pro ICEQ 3 TURBO SILENT Heatpipe 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (H195PRQT256DD-R) (£152.74)
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (£162.14)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) (£16.44)
Asus P5B Deluxe (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (£123.36)
Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (£215.01)
Zalman ZM460-APS 460W ATX2.03 PSU (£64.61)
Anybody see any problems with the above? I am replacing a 6800 Ultra P4 system and would go with the X1950pro for now for a good improvement and then jump to a DX10 card in the Spring. Silence is the most important thing in th setup hence the HIS card.
Is the Pro going to be good enough for 1650x1080 gaming?
