Quick Spec Check Please ;)

Hi all, After weeks of long research, it's come to crunch time,

Below is my spec, any problems with it ?

Am I going to need to download some Vista (x64) Update for it to see the 4GB of ram ?

Will the BIOS need to be updated at all for the board to see the chip ?

Yeah, going to be my first proper attempt.

I had a post in the mobo section about my motherboard choice, and got some good feedback about the board.

Budget is kinda MAX £450 inc P&P

How's this looking?

budget is already really stretched....

will the slower timings (C5) on the RAM effect how far I can push it ? How far past 800Mhz you reckon the RAM will go ?

I intend to use this for games and general stuff really.. just want some form of future proofing, hence the Quad. I'm coming from a S939 3500 so just want something to fly for a change hehe.... with Duals being a £140ish (8200) might as well spend an extra getting a Quad....

The slower timings won't effect the frequency, they'll just mean you have to run higher timings in general. It's not much of a problem and it's worth it if your budget is stretched. How high do you intend on overclocking? Do you want to run a divider or will running 1:1 FSBRAM be sufficient for your needs?

will be my first Overclock and will be happy with something around 3.2Ghz

okay cool and if i wanted to push it further... would I just increase the voltage on the RAM, or adjust the timings ?
