Hi, building a fairly basic home pc, mini itx style.

You think the following will be ok?

Thinking have to go with non-modular PSU due to them being expensive

he can use the onboard as its only a home pc, may want to swap the hard drive for the samsung f3 as its faster for £2 more

The Samsung may also be cooler due to the lower number of platters.

The new CX series are of unknown quality, as Corsair doesn't intend for them to be reviewed. They are only 'up to 80Plus' efficient which is not good. I've read from reading forum responses, here and elsewhere, that they would probably not be able to deliver their full rated wattage at high temperatures.

Unfortunately OCUK doesn't have the Antec Earthwatts Green EA-380D, which is a very high quality power supply, would be much more efficient than a Corsair CX, and is usually around the same price as the CX430 at other online retailers.

Nice little setup, I would go with the Samsung F3 500GB hard drive for a few pounds more.
