My only issue is ram clearence to the cooler, hoping it will be alright? or just mount the fan on the other side.

Also presume the MB is not voltage locked?

And yes I know the case is white :( his choice.
 
if this is just a windows machine you don't need that aftermarket cooler, the stock cooler is fine unless you plan on overclocking.

Windows 8 ? i would look up on reviews about that before you buy, a lot of people don't like it
