Ok i think its about time for an upgrade so...

Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler
Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB)
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Team Xtreem 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit
BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

Just wondering if i could improve on any of this? keeping within a decent price range of course ;)

Impressive setup that. Perhaps you could go for the 4300 instead of the 6300? It has lower cache but can be overclocked easier. Less £££ too.

Are you possibly getting confused with the 6600 and the 6300? Both the 4300 and 6300 have 2mb L2 cache but the 4300 has a higher multiplier. :)

Other than that it looks like a nice system.

I was going to let my RAM go for £130, but saw it go on the bay for £170, so i've rekindled my thoughts about upgrading from A64 to Conroe and the above system you have is EXACTLY what i'm getting as soon as all these cheques clear for drum equipment.

*rolls in a dozen personal cheques*

OCZ 2GB EB DDR PC-4000, the stuff is probably the best pair of sticks on the S939 market.

Link

Have absolutely no idea about the value of your sticks second hand though mate. Soz.
