Hi,

Looking to build a new PC dedicated to rFactor (Racing Sim), would like to keep cost low as it will only be used for this one game.

My current thoughts are:

- Intel Core 2 Duo E2140 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.60GHz (800FSB) - Retail
- Scythe Samurai Z Rev.B CPU Cooler (Socket 478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)
- Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
- Asus DRW-1814BL 18x DVD±RW IDE Dual Layer Lightscribe ReWriter (Black)
- Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C4 800MHz Dual Channel Kit
- Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 160GB SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM
- Antec NSK 4480B Mini Tower Case (Black) - 380W Earth Watts PSU
- Asus P5K Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Any thoughts? Is the PSU in the case good enough?

Thanks in advance

The PSU ought to be fine, I might be tempted to get the E2160 for the higher multiplier as it would make overclocking a bit easier. You could change the Ram to GSkill, OCZ or even Geil if you need to save a bit of cash to do so.

Didn't realise the E2160 had a higher multiply and for the small additonal cost it would be well worth while. Is the memory you recommend definately compatible with the mobo I have spec'ed as I built a PC earlier in the year for gaming (higher spec, not by much but for other use to) and the memory was not compatable, or faulty. This memory appears to be listed in the P35 manual as compatable where as the others recommended are not, does anybody use this memory with the mobo I have selected.

Thanks for all the advice
