Just speccing out a PC for a friend, his budget is £350. It is mainly going to be used for email, Internet and a bit of minor Photoshop work.

Does the below look ok;

AMD Bulldozer FX-4 Quad Core 4100 Black Edition 3.60Ghz (Socket AM3+) Processor - Retail with FREE Deus Ex PC Game £89.99
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) £77.99
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P 760G (Socket AM3+) DDR3 MicroATX Motherboard £35.99
Corsair Builder Series CX 430W V2 '80 Plus' Power Supply (CMPSU-430CXUKV2) £34.99
BitFenix Merc Beta Gaming Case - Black £29.99
Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) £23.99
Akasa Internal Media Card Reader (AK-ICR-07) £6.98

Total - £299.92

Would rather go with an i3 and Z68/77 motherboard. Bulldozer is slower, hotter and consumes more power. With a Z77 motherboard there is plenty of upgradability to a Sandy Bridge i5/i7 or Ivy Bridge CPU's.

More RAM, 8GB is just so cheap, would be silly not to.

The Corsair is a decent basic PSU, got one myself in a simple machine but found it developed an annoying capacitor whine which is particularly noticable when the system is powered down. For the sake of a fiver I would go with the XFX. The older CX400W was a decent PSU with a total of 360W of the 12V rails and made by Seasonic but the newer CX430 (and CX430W V2) is made by CWT (Chanel Well Tech) and has 336W on the +12V rails. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very good budget power supply with 3 years warranty and 80 Plus efficiency but the capacitor whine has put me off them a little. (Although mine is the V1).

XFX is made by Seasonic, again 80 Plus efficiency, 5 years warranty, 408W on +12V rails.
